Tim Barnwell, Faces & Places of Cashiers Valley Author Discussion
Join us at the Albert Carlton-Cashiers Community Library to listen to Master Photographer and Author, Tim Barnwell, talk about his work on Faces and Places of Cashiers Valley and highlight some of his other projects including his three Appalachian-themed books, the people of Highlands, and his YouTube channel, The Face of Appalachia.
Barnwell’s images have appeared in dozens of magazines, including Time, Newsweek, Southern Accents, House Beautiful, American Craft, Outdoor Photographer, US Air, Mother Jones, Sky and Telescope, Blue Ridge Country, Billboard, U.S. News and World Report, Travel South, American Style, Smithsonian, Woodwork, Our State, Black & White Magazine, Smoky Mountain Living, Aperture, LensWork, Fiberarts, Astronomy, Parents, Ceramics Monthly, and National Parks.
In the summer of 2024, CHS republished Faces & Places of Cashiers Valley. The books will be available for purchase at the event.
