Lauren Carmichael is the Marketing & Events Director of the Cashiers Historical Society.
Lauren has served as the Marketing and Events Director at Cashiers Historical Society since May 2024. Before joining CHS, she built a diverse career in account management, global sales, and business development. A natural at planning and hosting, she chose to follow what excites and fulfills her—creativity and connection—leading to a transition into marketing and events.
Passionate about the outdoors and building community, Lauren leads a women’s hiking group and advocates for empowering women in nature. Her role at CHS allows her to blend these interests with a deep appreciation for the rich Appalachian heritage and local history of the Cashiers Valley. Her other hobbies include rock climbing, camping, learning about local wildflowers and plant life, and spending time with her husband and pups.
