Young Preservationist
2026 OYSTER ROAST
Event Series For The Next Generation.
The CHS Young Preservationist event series is a new initiative that connects young professionals and community members of the Plateau with one another and with the Cashiers Historical Society. These lively, social events are perfect for anyone who enjoys engaging with others and shares a passion for the region. They are designed to foster a strong sense of community, introduce the next generation to our work, and show participants how they can get involved and support our mission.
CHS will host three Young Preservationist events each season! Private tours are also available for Young Preservationists and can be scheduled after hours.
2026 Young Preservationist Events:
+ Oyster Roast at Brookings Anglers on January 24, 2026
+ Young Preservationist Social Hour - Spring 2026
+ Bluegrass, Bourbon, and Beyond - Summer 2026
