2026 Cashiers Designer Showhouse

AT CASHIERS LAKE

AUGUST 28–SEPTEMBER 5, 2026

Cashiers Designer Showhouse celebrates its 29th Anniversary in 2026!

The Cashiers Designer Showhouse is the signature fundraiser of the Cashiers Historical Society. For more than two decades, this beloved tradition has welcomed thousands of visitors to Cashiers during the last week of August to tour a beautifully designed home.

Each year, top designers from the Cashiers-Highlands Plateau and across the Southeast bring a stunning home to life with inspired design and fresh ideas. From bold statements to timeless touches, they blend creativity with the latest trends—making the Showhouse a must-see experience for design lovers and curious visitors alike!

The Showhouse takes place on Friday, August 28th, through Saturday, September 5th. Every ticket purchased directly supported the Cashiers Historical Society and its work to preserve the history and culture of the Cashiers Valley. Thank you for supporting our organization and choosing to give the gift of Cashiers!

About the House

Cashiers Lake

Developed by Silverwing Partners and Daniel Communities,
Designed by Thomas & Denzinger Architects,
Built by Turnkey Construction Group,

Landscaping by Tate Landscaping Services

Rooted in mountain vernacular and expressed through a refined contemporary lens, this cottage embodies timeless mountain living within a community designed for a lifestyle grounded in nature, wellness, and connection.

The 2026 Cashiers Designer Showhouse is set within Cashiers Lake, a private residential community anchored by its newly restored namesake. Cashiers Lake offers a balance of in-town convenience and immersive mountain living. Located in the heart of town, the Showhouse draws from the heritage of Appalachian homesteads—simple, enduring forms shaped with intention and crafted from local materials that age gracefully with the seasons.

Top designers from the Cashiers–Highlands Plateau and across the Southeast will transform this 3-bedroom, 4.5-bath retreat into a showcase of inspired design and craftsmanship, blending creative vision with classic touches. Expansive windows dissolve the boundary between indoors and out, while a soaring great room invites gathering. A thoughtfully designed gear room reflects a lifestyle attuned to outdoor adventure, and upstairs living spaces offer comfort paired with serene lake views.

The floor plan emphasizes indoor-outdoor living, with terraces on both floors, including a lower-level outdoor kitchen, and spaces designed for connection, relaxation, and effortless entertaining. The result is a refined yet welcoming retreat—where modern design meets the enduring spirit of the mountains.

The Cashiers Lake community is designed to connect people and place in a way that feels natural to the mountains. Homes, paths, gathering spaces, and the village itself are envisioned as part of an integrated pedestrian network, creating a lifestyle centered around connection and ease. Thoughtfully designed homes are planned to embrace mountain and lake views, natural light, and timeless architecture rooted in the surrounding landscape. Along the shoreline, the planned Lakehouse amenity is intended to anchor the community with spaces for dining, wellness, gathering, and lake activities. Cashiers Lake represents a new chapter for the village and an opportunity to be part of something intentionally designed to honor the spirit and character that make Cashiers special.

A Letter From Our 2026 Showhouse Co-Chairs

We’re delighted to share that Caroline Crawford and Allyson Maske will serve as the 2026 Cashiers Designer Showhouse Co-Chairs!

It is truly our pleasure to welcome you to the 2026 Cashiers Designer Showhouse, the Cashiers Historical Society’s most important annual fundraiser. As Co-Chairs, it is both an honor and a joy to be part of this special tradition—one that celebrates exceptional design while supporting the community we all cherish.

Our connection to Cashiers is both personal and long-standing. We have shared many chapters of life together—from college years to raising our families in Atlanta—and now feel especially grateful to spend time together in Cashiers, a place that continues to bring us joy and inspiration.

This year, we are delighted to showcase a stunning home set along Cashiers Lake, part of a thoughtfully envisioned collection that reflects the charm and character of the village we love. Featuring 12 talented designers from across the Southeast, the Showhouse is a true celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and collaboration. We are incredibly grateful to each of them for bringing their vision and artistry to life.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the many volunteers, corporate sponsors, and generous benefactors who make this event possible. Your support and dedication are what make the Showhouse such a meaningful success year after year.
